"...I discontinued autographing them six or seven years ago."

Neil Armstrong Typed Letter Signed Regarding the Signing of Philatelic Items. A one page letter on University of Cincinnati letterhead, 8" x 11", September 23, 1977, Cincinnati, Ohio, to a collector in England in answer to an autograph request. A statement of his policies regarding covers. It reads, in full: "Because of the commercial negotiability of signed commemorative and first-day covers, I discontinued autographing them six or seven years ago. I recognize that all other autographs, which I freely provide, are also sold and traded lending an air of inconsistency to my position, but one must draw the line somewhere. I appreciate your genuine need for fund sources, but have no particular recommendations in that regard. I do appreciate the honor inherent in your request." Signed: "Neil Armstrong". A COA from The Inkwell Autograph Gallery is included. Extremely fine condition. From the Steven R. Belasco Collection of Space Memorabilia.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
