NASA Groups Four and Five Astronauts: Humorous Printed Cartoon Signed by Twenty-One. An 11" x 8.5" print picturing a space capsule named "Razmataz No. 4" leaving the earth with the caption beneath: "What'cha Mean, It Won't Flush!? (First Day of a 14 Day Mission)". All around the borders are the ink signatures of the following astronauts: "Jerry Carr", "Al Worden", "Fred W. Haise", "Ron Evans", "Ed Mitchell", "P J Weitz", "Charlie Duke", "Ed Givens", "Owen K. Garriott", "Jack Schmitt", "Joe Engle", "Jack Lousma", "Bill Pogue", "D K Slayton", "John S Bull", "Don Lind", "Stuart Roosa", "Jack Swigert", "Ed Gibson", "F. Curt Michel", and "Vance Brand". Quite a rare and interesting group of signatures. We note that this includes four of the six members of the fourth group of astronauts chosen in June 1965 (missing Graveline and Kerwin). It also includes sixteen of the nineteen members of the fifth group chosen in April 1966 (missing only Irvin, Mattingly, and McCandless). And, of course, Deke Slayton of the first group who was working as head of astronaut selection during this period. Good condition with a vertical fold, toning, a couple of minor stains, and three hole punches (affecting no signatures). Certainly a unique addition to any collection.

‡ The owner placed a late bid on this unreserved lot and repurchased it, subject to applicable commission.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
