    Seven moonwalkers

NASA Astronaut Groups One, Two, and Three: Portrait Page Signed by Eighteen, Circa 1964. An 8" x 10" heavyweight sheet with 0.875" x 1.125" individual B&W portraits of the complete astronaut corps at that time. Since John Glenn and Theodore Freeman are not shown, this likely dates to late 1964. The following astronaut signatures are found, each next to their respective portrait. Group One (Mercury Seven): "Gordon Cooper", "Wally Schirra", "Alan Shepard", and "D K Slayton". Group Two (New Nine): "Neil Armstrong", "Frank Borman", "James Lovell", "James A. McDivitt", "Thomas P Stafford", and "John Young". Group Three (The Fourteen): "Buzz Aldrin", "Gene Cernan", "Michael Collins", "Walt Cunningham", "Donn Eisele", "Dick Gordon", "Rusty Schweickart", and "Dave Scott". We note that on the verso is a lone signature: "Jack Schmitt" of Group Four for a total of nineteen autographs. Alan Bean could possibly be added through a show or private signing to add one additional moonwalker. An incredible assemblage. Page shows light wear and some toning with a heavy paper clip indention at top left. Unique in our experience. Overall fine.
