    Mary Ashton Livermore Autograph Letter and Autograph Manuscript Signed "Mary A. Livermore". Lovely archive from the noted American women's rights advocate including: (1) an autograph letter, two pages, 5" x 8", Chicago, July 12, 1869, to James Redpath, American journalist and anti-slavery advocate saying she will be very glad to have add her name to his list of lecturers, in part: "...Does that prevent my making engagements directly with parties who write me?...I shall be happy to lecture in that course for 'the people proper - 'the working classes'...". With some mounting remnants on the verso, else fine. (2) an undated autograph manuscript being the last page of an article about a scholarly undertaking, one page, 5" x 6.75", slightly toned with some minor foxing, else near fine. (3) Engraved portrait of Livermore from a photograph used as the frontispiece of her autobiography, Story of My Life, Hartford: A. D. Worthington & Co., 1898. 5.25" x 8.75". Fine.
