John Wilkes Booth: Oversized Autograph. Fragment of a John Wilkes Booth ALS, double-glazed. We believe it was written to Junius Brutus Booth, Jr. who had a daughter named Mary through his second marriage to Harriet Mace. It reads: " someone else, is one of those yearly writers. Heard from Mother yesterday. God bless her. She complained of your silence. She and the rest are well. How is dear little Mary. Have you ever told her that she has a uncle John. I guess not, however she will know it before... [on verso] Your Loving Brother J. Wilkes Booth." Booth's mother resided with Edwin Booth whose daughter was named Edwina. There is some discoloration, as shown, along one side. The Booth signature measures 4 ¾" across and is possibly the largest example extant.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
