    Description

Henry Wells and William Fargo: A Scarce and Always Popular Stock Certificate Signed by Both, as well as Another Original Founder, James D. Wasson. An 1864 American Express certificate issued to another of the company's co-founders. Wasson has signed as a receipt on verso. Wasson signature is light but clear, and the Wells and Fargo signatures are excellent. Minor bleed-through from old tape reinforcement, and a couple of trivial tiny edge tears noted for accuracy. 11.625" x 8.25".
