    Henry Clay Ford Signed Cabinet Card Photograph. Signed "H Clay Ford / Washington D.C." on the verso, 4.25" x 6.5", Dec. 10, 1893, Baltimore Photo, Co. stamp on the mount. A bit of foxing to the albumen at edges, and an inventory sticker on verso. Good condition.
    Henry Clay Ford, brother of theater owner John T. Ford, was the manager on duty the day of the assassination. Ford had met with Booth on April 14, 1865, and shared that Lincoln and Grant would be in the audience that evening for a performance of Our American Cousin.
