Fine First Ladies Autograph and Photos Group Lot. The lot features a scarce Eleanor Roosevelt signed photo, a studio-quality 8" x 10" Ortho Print (with its original White House envelope), boldly signed diagonally in black fountain pen across her left arm (it is a little hard to read because of the busy pattern of her dress). Also featured is a magnificent 8" x 10" Harris and Ewing silver gelatin print of Helen Taft, accompanied by its original mailing envelope with her signature and "free" below (edge roughness). The photo is mounted in a presentation folder to 10" x 13.5" size. Also included: 1932 Frances Cleveland Preston TLS with free frank signature on envelope; 3 Edith Bolling Wilson signed cards, along with original envelope with her printed free frank; 4 Mary Lord Harrison ALsS from 1932-1941, each with original envelope bearing her hand written free frank; 1931 dated signed Mary Lord Harrison card with original envelope; 1929 Helen Taft signed formal card with original envelope; undated Helen Taft ANS with original envelope; Francis Cleveland Preston 1937 ANS with her signed free franked envelope; 1949 Eleanor Roosevelt TLS with original envelope; 1939 envelope with Edith Roosevelt free frank signature. While the used envelope typical imperfections, the signed envelopes are in generally in Very Fine or better condition. A fine group.Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
