Charles Lindbergh Signed Print by Levon West. One page, 11.25" x 8.75" (sight), n. p., n. d. (circa 1972). Matted in cream to an overall size of 13.5" x 11" and mounted to a backing board. Inscribed by Lindbergh on the matting at the bottom, it reads: "To Dick and Harry/Charles A. Lindbergh." Countersigned at right, in pencil, by the artist, Levon West. This beautiful etching is of Lindbergh's plane, Spirit of St. Louis, flying over a hilly landscape. West first gained national recognition when a similar etching he made of Lindbergh's plane appeared on the front page of the New York Times the day after Lindbergh made his historic flight to Paris.

Richard "Dick" Blythe and Harry Bruno ran the public relations firm, Bruno and Blythe, which represented Lindbergh during his transatlantic journey and were organizers of the secretive, male aviator club, The Quiet Birdmen. Evenly toned, else fine. From the Richard Blythe Aviation Collection.
