Charles Lindbergh Inscribed and Signed Photo. Measuring 8" x 10", this handsome black and white photograph is inscribed and signed "To Cliff Henderson C. A. Lindbergh Aug. 29, 1930". Cliff Henderson was the promoter and General Manager of the National Air Races from 1928 to 1939, and is a legend in the field of aviation himself. Each year Henderson's wife travels to the Cleveland National Air Show to present the Cliff W. Henderson Award to the person or group who best exemplifies "belief in aviation." This photo from 1930 places the two men at the 1930 Chicago air races, one of the few times the national air races were NOT in Cleveland. In addition to Lindbergh's signature, the photograph contains three other signatures at the bottom, presumably also aviators or active in the field of aviation. The photograph shows mild wrinkling around the edges, but still displays beautifully. A rare and wonderful signed photo from one aviation legend to another. From the collection of Cliff Henderson.
