    Description

Bruce McCandless Signed Large STS-41-B Untethered Spacewalk Color Photo. A 20" x 16" silk finish photo on Kodak Endura paper of McCandless seemingly just hanging above Earth's bright blue horizon in an extravehicular activity (EVA) outside the cabin of the shuttle Challenger during STS-41-B. He was the first astronaut to perform an untethered EVA. He has signed in silver felt tip: "The first untethered spacewalk/ looking down on all humanity--/ Bruce McCandless II/ STS-41-B/ 7 February, 1984". First example of this particular image we have offered. Excellent.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
