    Description

Blanche Barrow's Collection of Barrow Gang-Related Newspaper Clippings consisting of several dozen clipped articles from her personal scrapbook. Included is a Tulsa World newspaper dated May 24, 1934 with "CLYDE BARROW, BONNIE PARKER SLAIN BY OFFICERS IN LOUISIANA" headline. Also in this lot are a number of clippings about the search for the gang members, captures, the deaths of Buck, Bonnie, and Clyde, and quite a few about the capture, trial, and release of Blanche herself. One particularly sensational report of Blanche and Buck's capture has the headline "How they Caught the Killer and His 'Fighting Moll'- Just Like a Bandit Thriller in the Movies Was the Siege of the Notorious Barrow Brothers' Gang in a Cabin Fortress With Armored Car, Steel Body-Shields, Machine and Riot Guns". A great lot for the historian with much first-hand reporting contained within. Overall very good condition.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
