    Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Flight and Backup Crews-Signed Color Photo Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Backup Docking Module Pilot Jack Lousma, with Signed LOA. A 9.5" x 7" color image of artist R Bruneau's concept of the 1975 Apollo/Soyuz docking approach mounted to a 14" x 11" matboard. All fourteen members of the flight and backup crews have signed on the borders of the mat, as follows (top left, counter-clockwise): "Tom Stafford" (U.S. commander), "Aleksandr Ivanchenkov" (Soviet crew 4 flight engineer), "Anatoly Filipchenko " (Soviet crew 2 commander), "Nikolay Rukavishnikov" (Soviet crew 2 flight engineer), "Yuri Romanenko" (Soviet crew 4 commander), "D. K. Slayton" (U.S. docking module pilot), "Alexei Leonov" (Soviet commander), "Valeri Kubasov" (Soviet flight engineer), "Vladimir Dzhanibekov" (Soviet crew 3 commander), "Boris Andreyev" (Soviet crew 3 flight engineer), "Ron Evans" (U.S. backup command module pilot); "Jack Lousma" (U.S. backup docking module pilot); "Vance Brand" (U.S. command module pilot), and "Alan Bean" (U.S. backup commander). A printed key to identifying the signatures is attached to the verso. Excellent condition.

    Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Authenticity on his letterhead stating, in full: "I hereby certify that all signatures on the Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) photo are authentic. As Backup Docking Module Pilot for the ASTP mission, I trained with the Soviet cosmonauts during 1973-1975 in both the United States and Soviet Union. I personally secured the original autographs of the astronauts and cosmonauts while they were in training for the ASTP mission. The cosmonaut autographs are translated into English on the reverse side of the photo. This signed ASTP photo is from my personal collection and has been in my possession since the mission in 1975."
