    Description

Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Crew-Signed Launch & First Day Cover. To celebrate the launch of this mission on July 15, 1975, the United States issued a pair of commemorative 10¢ stamps (Scott #1569-70). A vertical pair is affixed to this Artcraft cover and cancelled at Kennedy Space Center. An address label of "Maj. & Mrs. Thomas P. Stafford" in Seabrook, Texas has been added over another address label. The front has been signed by all five crewmembers, as follows: "Tom Stafford", "D K Slayton", "V Brand" and, in Cyrillic, "Alexei Leonov" and "Valeri Kubasov". Excellent condition.
