    Apollo 8 Crew-Signed Launch Cover. A philatelic cover with a se tenant pair of the "U.S. Astronaut/ Gemini 4" 5¢ stamps (Scott #1331-2) affixed, bearing a pictorial machine cancellation from Kennedy Space Center dated December 21, 1968, the day that Apollo 8 was launched on its historic mission to the moon. It bears a handsome monocolor cachet at left proclaiming that this was the "First Manned Lunar Apollo/Saturn Mission". It is signed in black felt tip by the crew: "Bill Anders", "Frank Borman" and "James Lovell". Not common. Excellent condition. From the Steven R. Belasco Collection of Space Memorabilia.
