"I'm looking forward [to] many interesting and exciting years of association and friendship"

Apollo 12 Signed Individual Color NASA Glossy Photos from the Personal Collection of Astronaut Roger Chaffee. The actual flight crew, as well as the originally-slated LMP, have each personally signed a photo for their fellow astronaut and friend. All are color 8" x 10" business suit glossies in beautiful condition with purple ink captions on the versos. As follows:
Charles Conrad (1930-1999)- Black-letter photo ID number "NASA S-62-7964". Signed: "To/ Roger/ You aren't serious are you?/ 'Pete'/ Charles Conrad Jr".
Richard Gordon- Black-letter photo ID number "NASA S-63-20050". Signed: "Rog--/ With sincere/ best wishes for a / bright future!/ Dick".
Alan Bean- Black-letter photo ID number "NASA S-63-20060". Signed: "To Roger Chaffee--/ Astronaut. And Friend/ Alan L Bean".
Clifton Williams (1932-1967)- Black-letter photo ID number "NASA S-63-20055". Signed: "Its an honor to be on the/ team with you Roger--/ I'm looking forward/ many interesting and/ exciting years of/ association and/ friendship -/ C Williams".

The Williams inscription is particularly poignant as he, like Roger Chaffee, was to never fly into space. Williams died in a training mission plane crash less than ten months after Chaffee's tragic death in the Apollo 1 launch simulation. Williams was slated to be the lunar module pilot on Apollo 12. That mission insignia features four stars, one for each man that flew, and one in Williams' honor.

Included with these photos is a signed letter of authenticity from Martha Chaffee, the widow of the late Roger Chaffee, attesting to their origination in her husband's treasured collection of signed NASA photographs.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
