Apollo 11 Landing Site Lunar Shaded Relief Map Signed by LMP Buzz Aldrin and CapCom Charlie Duke. A 29" x 22" 1978 map of the "Julius Caesar LSR 60" area of the moon containing the Apollo 11 landing area. Mission Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin has placed an "X" on the landing site and has written: "Tranquility Base/ July 20-21/ Buzz Aldrin Apollo XI". There is also a long and detailed notation by the Mission Capsule Communicator on duty during the moon landing, Charlie Duke, a moonwalker himself. He has written a quotation from the statement he made just after Neil Armstrong confirmed the landing: "Roger, Tranquility, We copy you on the ground. You've got a bunch of guys about to turn blue! We're breathing again. Thanks a lot! Charles M. Duke, Jr., Apollo 11 Capcom." Very fine condition, rolled.
