    American Social Reformer Anna Elizabeth Dickinson Quote Signed "Anna E. Dickinson". 3.5" x 2.25", written on a calling card, June 26, 1876. Ms Dickinson writes in full: "The world belongs to those who take it. Yours truly Anna E. Dickinson 6.26.76". Anna Dickinson (1842-1932) is credited with a number of "firsts" including being the first woman to address the United States Congress and the first woman on record to climb Colorado's Longs Peak. With some toning at the edges of the card and mounting remnants on the verso, else bright and in fine condition. From the Judith Kaplan Women's History Collection.
