    Description

    Captain Frank Hamer's Hunting License. State of Texas hunting license issued in Austin on August 22, 1927. License measures 6" x 4" and is affixed to an 8" x 10" black and white photo of Hamer sitting on the hood of his car with two deer strapped to either side of the car. Glued to a larger board with a newspaper clipping from the El Paso Herald-Post. The license is signed by Hamer at bottom. Photograph has slight silvering along right side, but retains great detail. Overall size is 11" x 13.5". Hunting license has some creasing and wear; newspaper article has a few tiny tears.
