Calvin Coolidge Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 8.5" x 10.75", Northampton, Massachusetts; January 3, 1902. An early letter to C.D. Coolidge, regarding their genealogical history: "My father John C. told me that you had looked up our family somewhat. I have been told that 'old' Jonas was a first cousin of Capt. John. Can you give me any assistance?... When you have looked over the papers kindly return them with any information you have that would aid me in locating the father & mother of Capt. John..." Signed in full, "Calvin Coolidge." Although written on his professional letterhead, the content is entirely personal in nature. From the Estate of Malcolm S. Forbes.

    Condition: Light wrinkling throughout, as well as the usual flattened mail folds with tiny separations occurring at very edges of same. Gently toned with a few stray spots of foxing. Light soiling on verso.
