Buzz Aldrin Signed Large Color Lunar Surface "Visor" Photo and Apollo 11 Patch, with LOA. An absolutely stunning 20" x 16" high-quality color photo signed boldly in blue felt tip: "Buzz Aldrin". Included is a 4" embroidered mission insignia patch, perfect for display with the photo. Both pristine.

Included with this lot is a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Kim Poor from Novaspace, reading: "One of the most famous images of the twentieth century, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, lunar module pilot, faces the camera as he stands in a small crater during the Apollo 11 extravehicular activity. The plexiglass of his helmet reflects back the scene in front of him, such as the Lunar Module and Astronaut Armstrong taking his picture. Astronaut Neil A. Armstrong, Apollo 11 commander, took this photograph with a 70mm lunar surface camera. The camera was the only still camera on the Lunar surface, so all but one fuzzy photo of the moon landing are of Buzz Aldrin. The astronauts' footprints are clearly visible in the foreground. Date Taken: 07 / 20 /1969. This photo was produced from a NASA archive transparency. The signature on this item is certified authentic, and guaranteed to be signed in person."
