Buffalo Bill Cody Autograph Letter Signed "B.B. Cody." 4.5" x 7", 2 page letter, dated October 4, 1903, on Buffalo Bill's Wild West stationery. The stationery has a small buffalo embossed in gold next to the gold lettering. The content is routine. Accompanying this letter is the original envelope the letter was sent in, which also has a small gold buffalo embossed on the verso, and a black and white photograph of a buffalo. The photograph measures 4.8" x 3.8". Buffalo Bill is best known for his Wild West Show, but he was also a big influence in the push for the rights of Native Americans.

The letter is in very fine condition; some slight yellowing from age; normal folds are present; embossments look amazing. The photograph is in fine condition; only slight fading from age. A beautiful presentation overall! Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
