    William Cullen Bryant Two Autograph Letters Signed Together with a Horace Greeley Autograph Letter Signed and a Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Autograph Verse Signed. William Cullen Bryant Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 7.5" x 9.5", New York; March 7, 1859. A letter of introduction for Francis Hall. Written on a bifolium, on which another page is written a letter of introduction to Bryant for the said Francis Hall. Accompanied by the original transmittal cover. Flattened folds, with two stray ink stains. Bryant's name is written on the verso in pencil, where there also appear two paper tabs affixed along the right margin.

    William Cullen Bryant Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 8" x 10", New York; March 23, 1846. A brief letter sending his autograph. With light soiling to the verso, where there are two paper tabs adhered along the right margin and Bryant's name written in pencil.

    Horace Greeley Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 8" x 10", New York; May 8, 1846. A letter complying with a request for his autograph. Flattened folds. Light soiling to verso, along with two paper tabs along right margin and Greeley's name written in pencil.

    Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Autograph Quote Signed. One page, 7" x 4.25"; June 1851. A four line verse signed at the conclusion: "Art is long - and time is fleeting, / And our hearts, though stout and brave, / Still, like muffled drums, are beating / Funeral marches to the grave / Henry W. Longfellow." Flattened folds, with toning and stray foxing. Verso has soiling, two paper tabs along right margin and Longfellow's name written in pencil.
