    Description

    Thomas Moore Autograph Letter Signed. "Thomas Moore." One page, 7.75" 8", Devizes [England], October 31, 1836. Moore is inviting an unidentified friend for a visit. He writes, in part: "...we shall be very happy to reserve you. Any of the coaches that pass through Calne or Devizes [both in Wiltshire] will bring you to us by tea-time..." Letter is repaired on the verso and there is slight adhesive ghosting on the recto, but it does not affect the text. Also included is an engraved portrait bust of Moore signed on the bottom by the poet "T. Moore.
