    Thomas de Quincey. (1785-1859, English Writer and Essayist). Autograph Manuscript, In de Quincy's Hand, Being a Portion of His Essay, The Effects of Inherited Wealth. Two sheets, approximately 5.5 x 4.5 inches and mounted on larger sheet, approximately 10.5 x 8.5 inches, with note by de Quincey in margin. Toning and light edge wear with a few small spots of soiling. Very good. Best known for Confessions of an English Opium-Eater.
