Samuel Clemens Program for a Dinner in His Honor Signed "Mark Twain". Three panels, each measuring 5.25" x 12.5", New York; November 10, 1900. The program is for a dinner at the Lotos Club, held in honor of Clemens, naming him "Dean of American Humor." The Lotos Club was a gentlemen's club in New York, founded by young writers and critics. Founded in 1870, Clemens was one of the Club's early members. The program has also been signed by Thomas B. Reed, Chauncey M. DePew, William Dean Howells, Thomas Bailey Aldrich, and John Hare. The three panels have been matted and framed to an overall size of 27.25" x 20.5". The program has not been examined out of the frame, but it is likely that the panels are now detached from one another.

Condition: Program has been detached into three pieces for framing. Moderately toned throughout, signatures are all very bold.
