    Description

    Robert Frost Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 5.75" x 7.25" (sight), Amherst, Massachusetts, October 12, 1935. Addressed to "Miss Mayer," the American poet writes, in part: "There! Don't you think I did better for not having been hospitably treated beforehand? I'll bet you didn't listen; so you don't know. Never mind I like you both and I admire your school. Really [signed] Robert Frost." Double matted with a photograph of Frost to an overall size of 17.5" x 12". From the Estate of Rod McKuen.

    Condition: One horizontal fold with one spot of foxing near the upper edge.
