    Richard Harding Davis (1864-1916, American Writer and Journalist). Associational Autograph Letter Signed to Howard Pyle (1853-1911, American Illustrator). [New York], 27 October, [ca. 1900]. Single sheet, folded, with letter on recto of both pages. Folded measurements approximately 7 x 4.5 inches. Additional horizontal fold with some edge toning and an area of offsetting. Two small holes along one edge, within text of second page, but not affecting. Overall near fine. Davis inquires to Pyle about possibly purchasing one of his paintings.
