    Relics: Six Relics Related to British Historic and Literary Sites, from the Collection of J. S. Reigart, including: an ivy leaf, pressed under glass, 5.75" x 4.75", with an inscription on the back, "Ivy Leaf from the home of Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon"; a piece of bark, 2.75" x 1", mounted on a card that is inscribed, "Piece of one of the 3 trees on Byron's little isle, a short distance from Chillon in the Lake Geneva, Switzerland / 'And then there was a little isle / Which in my very face did smile / The only one in view', Byron's Prisoner of Chillon, Verse 13, Lines 10, 11, 12 / Presented by Mr. & Mrs. Hastings Mch 1867"; a turned wood bell, 2" high, suspended on a wire stand and mounted on a partially printed "Collection of John S. Reigart" card that is inscribed, "Piece of the 'Anne Hathaway Cottage' at Stratford-upon-Avon"; a turned oak miniature cup, 3.5" high, with a tag on the bottom, "Milton House, London / Torn Down 1893"; a turned wood miniature goblet sealed in a bottle with an identifying card and paper label reading, "Goblet made of a piece of one of those Rugged Elms in Stoke Pogis Country Church Yard", the Stoke Pogis is where Thomas Gray wrote his timeless, "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard", a literary sensation when it was published in 1750; and, a carved wooden cross, 1.25" x 1.75", mounted on a Collection of John S. Reigart" card and framed with a note, "Cross made of a piece of the Yew Tree under which Gray wrote his Elegy".
