    Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. Autograph Verse Signed. A small card, 4" x 2.5", Boston, February 26, 1889. Holmes pens four lines from his poem, "The Voiceless": "A few can touch the magic string / And noisy Fame is proud to win them, - / Alas for those that never sing, / But die with all their music in them!" Signed in full beneath. Just light soiling at edges, otherwise near fine.
