    James Fenimore Cooper Autograph Document Signed "J. Fenimore Cooper." One page, 8" x 6", Paris, France, February 8, 1832. Cooper writes this document in French; he acknowledges the receipt of 1,383 francs, which he received for selling his two novels The Prairie, in three volumes and The Red Rover, English edition, also in three volumes. Cooper's best-known work is The Last of the Mohicans, but these two books, published in Paris, are also among some of his finest works.

    The letter is in very fine condition; usual folds are present; some slight soiling present on edges. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
