George Bernard Shaw Autograph Letter Signed on the verso of an imprinted postcard, 3.5" x 4.5", Welwyn, July 4, 1926. A letter to Charles S. Thomson regarding the arrival of plaques Shaw had commissioned. In part: "The one of myself is much more successful than that to which I took exception because you guessed the back of my head and guessed wrong. It is as good as work from a photograph can be expected to be. The one of Miss Thorndike is much better: it really looks alive..." Signed "G. Bernard Shaw." With a light crease affecting a line of text and gently soiled; otherwise near fine.
