    Charles Dickens Letter Signed. One page of a bifolium, 4.75" x 7.4", "Fullers Hotel"; March 16, no year. A letter to Henry L. Ellsworth thanking him for "the redemption of your friendly promise; and for your kind and most acceptable note." Signed, "Charles Dickens."

    Condition: Flattened folds, with a jagged tear at the bottom right affecting the "n" and paraph of Dickens' signature. Paper tabs are affixed at the tops of pages two and three of the bifolium, with light soiling to the verso of the blank integral page. Small staple holes to the right of the signature. The top left corner is bent and slightly torn.
