Charles Dickens CDV and Autograph Letter Signed "Charles Dickens." One page, 4.5" x 7", personal letterhead, Kent, September 13, 1860. Dickens writes this letter to the Reverend Joseph Hindle; the content is routine, stating what time the two would meet at church the following Tuesday. The CDV is unsigned, measures 2.5" x 4", and depicts Dickens wearing a lavish coat and suit. His pocket watch hangs dapperly from his vest.

The letter is in very fine condition; usual folds are present; slight staining around the edges, small tear on lower edge. The photograph is in fine condition; emulsion is crazing slightly; tears and tape lift on the verso suggest it has been mounted in the past. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
