    Charles Dickens Autograph Letter Signed to Artist George Cruikshank. One page, 4.25" x 7", Devonshire Terrace; October 17, 1845. In full: "My dear George, I enclose you the Savings Bank Paper, signed; and the £30 for your investment." Cruikshank was a book illustrator who did many illustrations for Dickens's novels, including Oliver Twist, Sketches by Boz, and The Mudgof Papers. Matted and framed with engravings of Dickens Cruikshank to an overall size of 26" x 17.5".

    Condition: Toning and foxing throughout letter. Some spotting on Cruikshank engraving.
