    Boris Pasternak Autograph Letter Signed "B. Pasternak". One page, 8" x 11.25", January 27, 1960, in German, to Anton Bubenik. Written four months before his death, the Russian poet and novelist pens the letter in purple ink and writes, in part: "Dear boy, why do you struggle so hard to understand so much prematurely, things the meaning of which will reveal itself to you later on? I don't want to leave your letter unanswered, so you won't think you are insignificant in my eyes, but I can't do much writing, I'm very busy - I wish you much joy and success in your learning and living...". With the original transmittal envelope.

    Condition: Bright with a very bold signature. Mail folds with light uneven toning.
