    Description

    Alfred Lord Tennyson Autographed Letter Signed "Tennyson." One page, 4.5" x 6.25", March 20, 1876. In this brief letter to "Messrs. Williams and Norgate", Tennyson discusses his 1875 play, Queen Mary, which had ultimately not proven to be a success. In part as written: "Baron Tauchnitz has published my Queen Mary at Leipzig& I have asked him to send me six copies." On blind embossed letterhead with some toning and a smoothed crease.
