Dated April 15th, 1914, receipt for $670 (advanced) and $270 dollars (in final payment) for the first serial rights to the Burroughs novellete "The Lad & the Lion". Signed by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Measures approximately 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Toned, creased and chipped, with some minor tearing and loss along left edge. Scattered pinholes along top margin. Very good.
