Norman Rockwell Typed Letters Signed (7) with Related Letters. Six of the letters measure 5.75" x 7.75" and one measures 7" x 11". All are on the artist's personal stationary and are addressed to Kenneth H. Campbell of New York. They are dated from January 8, 1974 to May 28, 1976, and signed "Norman Rockwell" in ink. The majority of the letters are thank you letters and well wishes. In his January 8, 1974 letter, Rockwell answers Campbell's request and specially signs the letter in block text, "which appears on most of my paintings". The related letters are also addressed to Mr. Campbell and are from either Mary Rockwell or Rockwell's secretary, Dorothy McGregor. These letters were written during Rockwell's illness and after his death in late 1978. Accompanying the letters are eight transmittal envelopes.

Condition: Letters range from very good to fair, with usual mail folds and uneven toning. There are varying degrees of foxing and foiling. A few letters have small holes and some paper loss from where staples were removed. One letter has chipping at edges with larger spots of soiling. Transmittal covers have usual amounts of wear.
