Norman Rockwell Group including: Norman Rockwell Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 6" x 8", Stockbridge [Massachusetts], n. d. [circa 1957], to Ginger Fischer urging her, most likely tongue-in-cheek, to "...sue Mr. Blomquist for defamation. To me you are beautiful." It is probable that he is here referring to his art director and friend, Arthur Blomquist. [and:] Norman Rockwell Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 6" x 8", Stockbridge, n. d. [circa 1957], to Ginger Fischer in full: "You're a real friend in need. I thank you and the collector of internal revenue thanks you. If I can ever do a favor for you please let me know. I thank you." [and:] Norman Rockwell Typed Letter Signed. One page, 7.25" x 10", Stockbridge, September 10, 1957, to Ginger Fischer thanking her "...for helping to get the checks out. It was wonderful to get them, and now I won't have to go to jail." He goes on by asking about a recent drawing he needs for correction: "...what I plan to do is instead of just showing more food on the table is to show back of little boy in the foreground, seated at table with head bowed - and will also indicate more food on table." [and:] Norman Rockwell Christmas Sketch. One page, 8.75" x 11.5", n. d. The image, a facsimile sketch, shows Santa Claus dancing with a young lady in front of a Christmas tree. Rockwell has written at the upper right to Ginger Fischer, "Ginger All my love I miss you more and more," above a sketch of a man wearing glasses. At lower right he has written: "Old Mr B. remember me," presumably a reference to Art Blomquist. With original transmittal envelope addressed in Rockwell's hand. All are fine.Auction Info

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.View More Testimonials
