Jacques Lowe: Two Signed and Numbered Colored Posters of John F. Kennedy Created For Sale in Europe. The first, limited to eighty signed copies of which this number seventy-nine, measures 26.5" x 35.25" and features John F. Kennedy standing in a small boat, peering down into the water of Coos Bay, Oregon, after addressing longshoreman in their union hall, 1959. Photographer Jacques Lowe has signed and numbered the piece at the lower right corner. Waterstaining is evident along the left margin with spots of light soiling at the upper and lower edges.

    The second, limited to eighty signed copies of which this is number sixty-seven, also measuring 26.5" x 35.25" features a collection of twelve photographs of Kennedy surrounding a larger photograph of the president on the phone, his left hand against his forehead, as he receives news of the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, the first democratically elected prime minister of the Republic of Congo, in 1961. As in the first, Lowe has signed and numbered the piece at lower right. Originally in black and white, each photograph has been colored.
