    Ignacy Jan Paderewski Endorsed Check. 8.5" x 3", Saranac Lake, New York; April 18, 1916. A check, No. 6198, making the payment of $25.00 to "Ignace Paderewski" from Lawrason Brown. The check has been signed "I.J. Paderewski" and "Helena Paderewski" on verso, along with a stamp of received payment in red ink. The check has been punched with cancellation holes through the center of the check. Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860-1941) was a Polish composer and future Prime Minister of Poland.
    Condition: Flattened fold at center with some very light soiling from red ink transference. The ink has been smudged in a few places on the front. Paderewski's signature is very bold on verso. As mentioned, cancellation cuts are present.
