DescriptionHarriet W. Frishmuth Typed Letter Signed "Harriet." One page, 5.5" x 6.5" (sight), Norwalk [Connecticut], June 6, 1966. Addressed simply to "Donald," sculptor Harriet Frishmuth (1880-1980), best known for her works in bronze, writes in full:
"I was so happy to have your letter. I was beginning to think you might have become annoyed at me for exploding about Sally Carr, and the outcome of Sally Carr's application to the Society was bad enough without your being cross at me. I would never wish that. I am delighted that you will be able to use the death mask of Woodrow Wilson. I shall keep it here s 'bait' for a visit from you. I should dearly love to have a glimpse of you again. We are negotiating for the sale of this property and should the highly improbable happen and we have to move, I shall get in touch with you and have the death mask packed and sent over."
Double matted to an overall size of 8.75" x 9.75". Extra fine.
