George Cruikshank Signed Original Drawing. One page, 5.75" x 9", n. p., n. d. The English illustrator, known for his satirical drawings and caricatures, has drawn an unusually large man walking along a tightrope from three angles. He has written his name below the central figure. The title, "Daniel Lambert Dancing on a Tightrope," is placed above the drawing. Daniel Lambert, a jail keeper and animal breeder, was famous for his very large size. Once the fattest man in recorded history (to that point). Upon his death in 1809, he weighed an estimated 739 lb. Another sketching appears above the figure of Lambert of an obviously displeased man's face. A "To Do" on the verso. Folds. Else fine.
