    Composer Richard Rodgers Autograph Note Signed with photograph. "Richard Rodgers." One page, 4.5" x 3", in ink, n. p, n. d. Richard Rodgers (1902-1979) is most famous as half of the writing team Rodgers and Hammerstein with lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II. The duo created highly successful musical productions such as The Sound of Music, The King and I, South Pacific and Oklahoma! Note reads in full: "For Mr. Joseph Halter, with kindest regards. Sincerely, Richard Rodgers" and is matted with a photograph of Rodgers above and a print of a painting of the mountains with "The Sound of Music" below to an overall size of 10" x 16".
