Description

Charles Dana Gibson Typed Letter Signed, with Additional Suggestive Inscription. Dated April 3, 1918. Addressed to "My Dear Mrs. Tilton" on "Division of Pictorial Publicity" letterhead. One page, measuring approximately 8 x 10.5 inches, matted and mounted to foam core backing. An otherwise formal letter, signed in ink by Gibson with the inscription: "This letter doesn't look at / all the way I feel about / you." Light toning and thumbsoiling, with three horizontal folding creases. Very good. From the collection of Judith Adelman.
