    Artist Clare Leighton Inscribed and Signed Photograph. 4" x 6.25", mounted on a backing to an overall size of 7.75" x 10.5". Leighton, most noted for her wood engravings has inscribed a beautiful sepia photograph or herself on the backing just beneath the photograph: "To Agnes and Henry Leach with "English" love from Clare Leighton January 1929". The photographer's name, Daisy Day, has signed her name directly beneath the photograph. Fine condition. From the Judith Kaplan Women's History Collection.
