Apollo 11 Color Photo Signed by Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins of the recovery ship, the U.S.S. Hornet. A 4.875" x 3.5" color photo, taken from the sky, signed in black felt-tip with excellent contrast by all three crewmembers: "Buzz Aldrin", "Neil Armstrong", and "M Collins". After its eight-day trip to the moon and back, the Apollo 11 command module Columbia splashed down on July 24, 1969, fifteen miles from the Hornet. President Richard Nixon was on board to greet the Apollo 11 crew home but he had to do it through the glass window of their quarantine facility, where they would spend nearly three weeks before being given a clean bill of health on August 13th. Excellent condition.
