The most desirable Apollo 1 signed crew photo we've seen.

Apollo 1 Crew-Signed Color NASA Glossy Photo from the Personal Collection of Mission Pilot Roger Chaffee. A 10" x 8" photo with the red-letter photo ID number in the margin, "NASA S-66-30236" showing the astronauts posed in their flight suits at a table behind a model of the original CM-012 command module. It is boldly signed by each in black felt tip: "Ed White" (1930-1967), "Gus Grissom" (1926-1967), and "Roger Chaffee" (1935-1967). Originally designated AS-204, the first mission in the Apollo manned lunar landing program was scheduled for launch on February 21, 1967. A tragic fire during a "plugs-out" launch simulation on January 27, 1967, claimed the lives of the three astronauts aboard. An incredible rarity, especially coming directly from the family of one of the crew. Pristine condition.

Included with this photo is a signed letter of authenticity from Martha Chaffee, the widow of the late Roger Chaffee, attesting to its origination in her husband's treasured collection of signed NASA photographs.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
