Includes: George Ashmun (ALS, June 14, 1845); Edward Bates (clipped FF); Simon Cameron (ALS, March 20, 1864), Salmon P. Chase (ALS, Dec. 6, 1864, accepting congratulations for his appointment as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court); David Davis (signature on a card); William Dennison (signature on a card); Edward Everett (ALS, dated Nov. 18, 1864); William P. Fessenden (clipped signature); Hannibal Hamlin (ALS, Feb. 6, 1869); Hugh S. McCulloch (DS, Dec. 18, 1863, and 2 signatures); John Nicolay (LS, Dec. 18, 1867, and a signature on a card); Gideon Welles (signature); William O. Stoddard (ALS, Nov. 1, 1921, great content regarding Lincoln, in very small part: "I... see him as a monumental presentation of the great idea of Growth..."); James Speed (LS, June 19, 1865, and signature); Caleb Smith (signature); John B.S. Skinner (LS, Oct. 22, 1862); William H. Seward (ALS, Nov. 23, 1863); Frederick William Seward (two LsS and two clipped signatures); John P. Usher (2 signatures); Lot M.
